Every year, many still wonder why we celebrate the birth of Christ and if it is still relevant to do so today. The very purpose of Christ's coming into the world was that He might offer up his life as a sacrifice for the sins of men. He came to die. This is the essence of Christmas! And for this reason, it will always remain relevant.

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
